Hydraulics

This tight tolerance component was manufactured using our CNC milling and CNC wire EDM machining capability. There were several stage operations, heat treatment, multi axis milling and boring operations along with precision EDM machining of the slots and finally honing and surface plating treatment. The component was initially subjected to an FMEA analysis and control plans were created with inspection criteria and checking frequencies. Each part was serialised and traceability maintained for every finishing operation and heat treatment batch.
